One of our favorite things about the photoshoots in our downtown Sacramento photography studio is that most of our clients wouldn’t consider themselves a “boudoir model”. Sure, a lot of us may be comfortable in selfies or group pictures with friends. But to bare everything in a room with a stranger? That takes a lot of guts!
Each woman that comes into our studio is a boudoir model. In these shoots, we get to see you come out of your shells. Your smile lights up, along with your confidence, when you rock a really sexy pose. We see the tension leave you as you finally relax into the shoot, trusting that we’ve got this. We do! And so do you!
What makes a ‘boudoir model’?
We get it, maybe you’re not used to thinking of yourself as ‘model material’. Maybe the thought of shedding the security of your favorite pair of jeans and donning a lacy thong is a bit too out of your comfort zone. Maybe you’re unhappy with your body, with your curves, with yourself. You know what? That’s okay! You can still be a boudoir model!
To be a model, you don’t have to meet specific height or weight categories. There’s no need to walk runways, or have 600k followers on Instagram. The qualities that make up a beautiful boudoir bombshell are simple! Beauty (you’ve got that in spades, we assure you!), bravery (you’re here, and so brave already!), and confidence (and we’re confident you’ll rock this one, too!).
Finding your inner model.
Many of the clients we work with tell us, “I’ve never done anything like this before!” We understand, and we’re here to help. When you book a shoot with us, we’ll do everything in our power to ensure that you love the end result. From helpful tips on what to wear, to suggestions mid-shoot of how to pose, we’ve got your back – and the rest of you, too! 😉
When you arrive, we’ll guide you up to our shooting location and help you get settled. Once ready, our incredible in-house photographer, Caroline, will be your best friend and confidante for the duration of your shoot. She’s got years of experience in making clients feel comfortable, and in photographing them in the best ways possible. If you have any questions during the shoot, just give her a shout!
