At our Boudoir by Olin studio in downtown Sacramento, we aim to create an unforgettable experience for our clients. We want each woman to leave feeling even more confident in her own beauty than she was when she arrived. From offering make-up and hair styling services to posing and outfit advice, we try to think of everything.
We want our clients to be happy with their visit during their boudoir shoot, and we want them to fall in love with the shots afterward.
A Pop of Gorgeous Color
Some of our most often received questions involve wardrobe. “What to wear” can be a tricky topic for many people, as everyone has different body types and style preferences. We normally suggest that you bring a couple of outfits that make you feel sexy. If you feel sexy, you’ll look sexy! This doesn’t always have to mean lingerie and nudity. Sometimes, a sports jersey or a husband’s Army jacket can add a little personalized sex appeal to the boudoir shoot – and this is always appreciated by the recipient of your photos!
Blue Beauty
When we saw Sydney’s gorgeous blue two-piece lingerie set with garters, we feel in love immediately. A bright pop of color among all the neutral colors in the studio really stood out in our photos.
For colors, some people prefer things a bit more neutral. Whites, beiges, and grays all complement a more neutral palette, and work with a variety of skin tones. Other people prefer to be bold and bright, and we love that, too! Fun and excitement shines from within, but having a couple colorful garment choices definitely won’t hurt. 😉
Jewel tones are very popular for a lot of people. Garnet reds, bright blues, deep greens – all of these can be flattering on all kinds of people, which is great since a lot of lingerie tends to come in these darker, brighter shades. And look at how Sydney rocked this shoot! Absolutely breathtaking.
