Before every photoshoot in our Sacramento boudoir studio, we talk to our clients a bit to figure out what their goals are for their shoot. Some women like to provide their finished photos to their significant others as gift or surprise. Others, however, opt for a recipient a little more personal: themselves.
Self-esteem is a constant problem for a lot of people – not just women – today. Feeling happy and secure with yourself, as well as attractive and worthy, are things that aren’t always easy for everyone, and many struggle with. At Boudoir by Olin, we believe that every woman and body is beautiful, and it’s our goal to make each client believe that about themselves, too.
After initial contact is made, we send a survey out to each prospective client asking a few questions. What do you love about yourself? Who are your style icons? Is there anything about yourself that you don’t like? We use the answers to these questions to help us figure out how we can help make your experience amazing for you. Whether that be by focusing on the features of yourself that make you most proud, or just making you comfortable by laughing with you about your favorite movie – we’ve got you covered.
Classic Hollywood Glitz & Glamour
When it comes to shoot inspiration, we love to hear what inspires the person we’re having join us for a session. For the gorgeous Molly above, her inspiration comes from the classy glitz and glam of old Hollywood. The Golden Age of Hollywood is one of the most aesthetically memorable periods in America’s history. The timelessly classic style is a favorite of many of our clients – and we absolutely see why!
Who are the most popular style icons of this time period?
- Rita Hayworth
- Audrey Hepburn
- Elizabeth Taylor
- Greta Garbo
- Jean Harlow
- Marilyn Monroe
With gorgeous ladies like the above to look up to, what’s not to be inspired by? The elegance of this classic style is one that we definitely wanted to shine through our Sacramento boudoir photoshoot session, and we’re happy to say that Molly brought it. She looked just as elegant and as glamorous as any of the most beautiful stars from those early movie days! We were in awe. 😍
Beautiful work- by Molly and the photographer. I truly want to get my portraits taken but schedule of mine is just crazy. (Trying all my best to be Supermom and Superwife). Congratulations Molly with the great work you did in front of the camera.
