Mini Sessions are a great way to update your family photos quickly, affordably, and efficiently. We’ve been doing them for years and they’ve never let me down!
What are Mini Sessions?
Mini Sessions are just what they sound like: a quick update to your family photos, senior photos, branding photos, and even holiday photos! They’re affordable, simple, and easy. You can do them yourself or bring in a professional photographer to help you get the best shot possible.
How Mini Sessions Take Place
Mini sessions are a great way to update your family photos quickly, affordably, and efficiently. A mini-session is also a great way to get updated photos for the holidays.
A mini-session is exactly what it sounds like: small usually around an hour. With this type of shoot, you’ll have time in one place together while we take pictures of everyone you love! The goal is not just to capture memories but also to help facilitate some new ones—and that’s something worth celebrating all year long!
Tips On How To Rock Your Next Mini Session
Here are some tips on how to rock your next mini-session:
- Dress comfortably. You don’t want to be uncomfortable while we take photos, so make sure you wear something comfy and casual. If it’s possible, bring along a friend or two who can keep you company during the shoot!
- Bring a prop. Think about what kind of pictures you want to be taken and then think about what kind of props would go well with them. It’s also helpful to bring something fun that relates back to the theme of your session (e.g., if it’s a wedding-themed shoot then why not bring flowers?).
- Bring an outfit that reflects who YOU are as an individual person within this situation; don’t just show up in “your” favorite t-shirt because that doesn’t say anything meaningful about who YOU ARE AS A PERSON IN THIS SITUATION!!!
Choosing The Right Session For you
Choosing the right session for you is all about knowing your wants and your family’s personality and what works best for them. Do you want to be in a big group? Is it more important that everyone who comes can have fun together, or would you rather settle into a more intimate setting?
When choosing a location, think about how much room there is in your house/apartment and whether or not it has good acoustics (for example: if there are windows nearby). In addition, consider whether or not having an open space like this means that people will talk loudly over each other when they’re taking photos—and whether or not this would bother someone else who was trying hard not to hear anything at all!
Finally, think about what kind of clothing (if any) each person should bring with him/herself before deciding on his/her favorite outfit from this list below; then choose accordingly 🙂
