Another entry into our blog series featuring inspiration and examples of some of our favorite boudoir looks! We get so many different women into our boudoir studio, and each client has her own individual comfort levels and boundaries.

Some women feel comfortable completely nude or in barely-there lingerie, while others feel more at home in long sleeves and pants. There is no “right” way to feel, so we’re more than happy to discuss options for all comfort levels!

Today we thought we’d showcase a few stunning girls who opted for clothes that were a bit more comfortable for them. These outfit choices give off that comfortable, gorgeous, girl-next-door vibe that we absolutely adore! There’s nothing sweeter than a happy girl in a comfy outfit that makes her feel like the gorgeous goddess we know she is!

The Girl Next Door Boudoir Look

A knit sweater with low riding jean shorts is a great option, and we love how soft the sweater and our client’s curls make this photo! That little bit of belly showing adds a little sexiness to an otherwise sweet, soft image.

You can also rock the sweater without the jeans, if you feel up to it! The illusion of nudity can be even more sensual than the nudity itself for some people, and we love that!

A button-up plaid shirt is another way to rock that girl next door boudoir look for your session. Choose a color that flatters you and makes you feel beautiful. Adding a little peek of a pretty bra beneath takes this from “farm town” to “boudoir shoot”, and we can’t get enough! That combination of lace and cotton is so lovely.

Similar to the sweater option, a regular or scoop necked long sleeve shirt would also be a great option for your session! You can pair this with cute panties that make you feel your best, and show off your best assets. 😉
