One of the absolute best things about boudoir photography is how versatile and unique it can be. Each woman is gorgeous in her own special way, and each one stands out from every other woman before her. When we bring women into our downtown Sacramento boudoir photography studio, we love getting to know each one personally to learn them during our session.
Part of the versatility of each shoot lies in the wardrobe choices. It’s incredible how 5 completely different women can rock the same outfit in totally different, unique ways. Playing with themes and different looks is such a fun experience for some of our clients. It’s not every day that we have the time or the ability to play dress up, and to make ourselves feel beautiful. Pampering ourselves with a boudoir photography session can be a way to do that – treat yourselves!
We thought we’d put together a few blog posts containing our favorite looks, and showing how different and unique each one can be. Hopefully, these can help inspire you if you’re worried about what sort of imagery or outfit to choose for your boudoir photography session. But if you need more help, feel free to reach out to us! We’re more than happy to consult on best options for you personally!
The Bridal Boudoir Look
While this wouldn’t apply for every single client, a “bridal theme” could be great inspiration for those who are looking into boudoir photography for a wedding or anniversary gift. White lace, veils, and lots of details are the main components of this look. Focusing on your ring also makes for a wonderful photo!
We offer prints, bespoke albums, and other customization options that would make these excellent gifts for your partner (or yourselves!). And how gorgeous are these looks?
So many of our clients are women recently engaged, or women with upcoming weddings to celebrate. Their partners already love them and their bodies, but immortalizing the romance and beauty of their wedding night with a special gift can add a special touch that may have been unexpected – in the best way!
