It’s Tuesday morning, I’m prepping for an exciting boudoir shoot in the studio. I’ve got the silver sequin backdrop set up. I know Lady N is bringing a few pieces to work it with in this scene. The morning light is hitting just perfectly through our front videos. I’ve got butcher paper on the windows to diffuse the light and for a little privacy! We’re located right on 12th street which gets some decent foot traffic.
Lady N comes in and lays out the pieces she’s been hunting for. I was enthralled with how this first piece comes to a point with 4 triangular patterns. I’m also a big fan of the extra strap connected to the cup. Sue it doesn’t serve a purpose, but that’s why it’s so fun! And having a little extra flare is always fun for boudoir shoots!
For her second act, she busted out this red and black lace corset, adorned with a long pearl necklace. I felt like I’d be transported back to a saloon in the late 1800’s. Timeless, sophisticated with an edge is always a good way to select lingerie.
You could tell someone put thought into designing this four-fecta bow set. It’s very stunning up close or from a far.
I liked how Lady N brought a simple piece that could be worn late night or to party. I truly get to experience each woman’s creative side as they infuse their own style into our session.
We haven’t seen too many fishnets around these parts and I appreciate their textured burlesque vibe.
And come on, what kind of session would it be if we didn’t add in some fur action?! #givemeallthefurplease
