With our boudoir sessions, we believe that there’s nothing more beautiful than a woman who feels comfortable in her own skin. Although some of our clients come to us a little shy, that changes by the end of their boudoir session in our Sacramento studio. Being able to bring our clients out of their shells is one of our favorite parts of what we do.
We also love getting to know our clients, both before and after their sessions in our studio. From favorite animals to hobbies, knowing what makes each on of our models tick helps everyone involved feel more comfortable.
When asked why she was interested in a boudoir session with us, cat-loving Marianella replied that she wanted “to celebrate the new chapter of my life as a single woman.” We wholeheartedly support that!
Boudoir Session Goals & Inspiration
Marianella’s personal style can be described as vintage, “classic cut with a feminine flair”. She looks up to beautiful pin-up & burlesque style icons like Bettie Page and Dita Von Teese. It’s easy to see their influences in her aesthetic. With big curls, softly sexy make-up, and a little red strappy lingerie number, her goals of looking “like a bad ass woman” have been fully actualized. We’re in awe!
The Beauty of Loving Yourself
Although she mentions a few small areas of insecurity with her appearance, Marianella tells us, “I am learning to love my body now that I am in my 30s.” When asked which features she likes best about herself, she proudly says, “All of me!” We can definitely get behind that sort of body positivity in a boudoir session! Her enthusiasm and happy-go-lucky nature made her so much fun to work with.
Self-love can definitely be one of those things that evades us in many of our earliest years. Being a part of our client’s journeys toward loving themselves is privilege for which we’re very grateful. It’s so important to remember that you are worthy of feeling beautiful, and of being loved. And if you don’t fully believe it, don’t worry – we do! And we’re happy telling you so whenever you need to hear it.
