Embracing the Many Facets of Womanhood

There’s no denying that being a woman is complicated. We are bombarded with messages that tell us we have to be everything to everyone. We have to be smart, but not too smart. Be attractive, but not too attractive. Be strong, but not too strong. It’s exhausting. But the truth is, there’s no one way to be a woman. We are all unique, complex, and beautiful in our own way. Embracing the many facets of womanhood is exactly what being a boudoir babe is all about.

Our Boudoir Babe, Ariella had a photography session with our photographer Olin in our Sacramento boudoir studio.  Ariella is someone who embraces all the different facets of womanhood. She’s strong, vulnerable, passionate, and loving. She’s shy, introverted, serious, and affectionate. Imperfectly perfect, with love and hope as her strengths.

On her free time she loves to workout, listen to a variety of music genres, spend time at the beach, and be with her family and friends. Ariella also enjoys singing, dancing, painting, hiking, running, reading, watching shows, and traveling. She has a love for Disney, vampires, and fairies, and her fashion style is earthy, sporty, boho, with a touch of grunge and goth.

When asked about her session, Ariella wanted to feel naturally beautiful in her own skin and show all her personality, from her shy and introverted side to her affectionate and passionate side.  She’s a hopeless romantic who wants to celebrate the woman she is today, with all her imperfections and bodily changes from motherhood.  And if you’re wondering if this is a gift for someone special, the answer is yes. But before anyone else, this is a gift for herself.  It serves as a reminder that she is confident and worthy.

A boudoir photography session is not just about lingerie and posing for the camera. It’s about celebrating all the different facets of womanhood and about being authentically yourself.
