We love themed boudoir session shoots. When Blair contacted us about her “bridal / wedding boudoir” theme, we jumped at the opportunity. While we focus a lot on empowerment and self-love, we understand that sometimes, these sessions are done with a recipient in mind. In Blair’s case, our boudoir session photos would be a surprise given to her fiancé the night before their wedding – so sweet!

Blair and her Mister met on a cruise ship a few years ago. After dating long distance for nearly a year, she took the leap and moved to sunny California for love. “It’s basically been a fairy tale since the beginning,” she told us. “He’s my best friend and the most patient, kind man I’ve ever met.”

When theming her shoot for their upcoming nuptials, Blair was specific when sharing what she wanted as her shoot’s focus. “I’d like to incorporate my heels and veil for a few shots, both close ups and full body shots. I’d also like a few topless shots taken from behind.” We’ve got you covered!

Boudoir Session Style

When asked about her personal style, Blair says she’s “laid back” and “casual”. Referred to our studio by one of her friends, she told us that she loved the brightness of the photos she’d seen in our portfolio, and loved that the end results never looked “overly photoshopped”. While we sometimes ask for specific celebrity or style icons for our clients, that isn’t always an option. Blair opted to focus on her own style preferences and choices, drawing inspiration from herself. We love a trendsetter!

Strength = Beauty

“I’m very comfortable with nudity,” she says. When asked if she loves her body, Blair answers honestly. “Most of the time, yes. I appreciate what it’s capable of, and I work very hard for it to be strong. Some days self-love is a little hard than others, though.” A bodybuilder by trade, she’s used to the scrutiny that can come with having your body on display. “I’m used to gym photoshoots, but I’m really looking forward to a totally girly shoot!” We were super excited to show Blair a girlier side to photoshoots!
