There are so many parts of a boudoir session that bring us joy here in our Sacramento studio. From the initial excitement of our clients, to their happy smiles when seeing their finished photos during each of our reveal sessions, there’s a lot to love. Empowering women to feel confident and beautiful in the gorgeous bodies they’ve been given is a huge work perk, and sometimes we’re able to help make something happen that a client never thought was possible! For this shoot, that included ballet boudoir!
We really love getting to know each of our clients, from their musical preferences to style icons to their hobbies! Knowing that you, or the person you’re getting the photos taken for, is a huge fan of baking can help add a fun little spin on the shoot itself – maybe we’d suggest a cute apron, or a whisk as a prop! Every shoot, and every client, is so different, and we want to do what we can to bring the shoot and their photos alive for them.
When Tria came to our studio for a boudoir session with our very own Caroline, we were blown away by her grace and elegance. Not everyone that comes through our studio is as comfortable flexing and moving around (and that’s okay!), but Tria was ready. As a practiced dancer, she used her studying and knowledge of ballet to add a bit of gorgeous pizzazz to her shoot. We were blown away! From her delicate movements to her sweet facial expressions, Tria rocked every single second of this shoot with us. Major kudos, girl!
The lighting and wardrobe choices added a dreamy, ethereal quality to all of the photos from Tria’s session. She could be lounging around and dancing up in heaven with how beautifully angelic her photos turned out! We’re loving the soft femininity of the pastels she chose for her outfits – so flirty, so youthful, so pretty! While they may not be a leotard specifically, she still looked just as comfortable and at home as if it were.
Being able to see one of our clients in her “element” was such a treat! We loved getting to know more about Tria and her warm-up activities, plus her dancing as a whole. We’re big fans of art and creativity here, and dance is an art form just like any other. We were in love!
