WHY DOES CAROLINE PHOTOGRAPH BOUDOIR?
Caroline photographs boudoir because she believes in celebrating being feminine, self love, female beauty, sensuality and being a woman. She loves liberating women from the social and cultural expectations of beauty and sexiness. She loves women who are unabashedly themselves!

For this reasons Caroline prefers to photograph women and chooses to focus the female form as her subject matter.

Like we said, it’s a girl thing!

WHY SHOULD I HAVE BOUDOIR PORTRAITS TAKEN?
Because you’re fierce. Every woman is beautiful and should love her body. Even when you’re feeling a little bit unsure, we’ll show you in a new light: flattering, lovely and truly, gorgeously you. What can we say? Boudoir photography showcases your beauty in a tasteful, luxurious way. Caroline photographs boudoir because it celebrates the female form in it’s many complex ways and encourages each woman to embrace and love their body!

SHOULDN’T I WAIT UNTIL I LOSE WEIGHT?
This is a fantastic query…and the answer is NO. It doesn’t matter if your cups (or muffintop) runneth over; there’s no better time than now. Forget what magazine covers want you to believe are the benchmarks of beauty. True beauty is shared in a smile, an attitude and through a little help from flattering posing and lighting—all reflecting your ultimate, unique gorgeousness. What’s more, a lot of my clients tell me they’re so glad they didn’t wait…And whose definition of perfection should we embrace, anyway?

I’VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, WILL YOU HELP ME PREPARE FOR THE SHOOT?
We wouldn’t have things any other way. Part of the experience of feeling your most comfortable and confident is knowing what to expect ahead of time. Whether we meet in my studio or over the phone to discuss your vision, you’ll receive plenty of information to help prepare for our session and ensure a glamorous experience. I will also assist in styling your looks and putting together an inspiration board for your shoot so we can customize your experience and make sure to bring out the very best real you!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Part of our amazing services is the fact that I will help style your sessions for you. Come with bags of accessories, shoes, clothes, props and costumes and I will take care of the rest!

DO I NEED LINGERIE?
The simple answer is no. Regardless of clothing choices, the feminine form is fabulous. We’re happy to accommodate everything from cute swimsuits to yoga gear, darling dresses, his work shirt, a leather jacket and sexy jeans and (for the more adventurous) nothing at all (think professional, artful nude). We’re even happy to recommend some of our favorite clothing choices (and, yes, we photograph fetish).

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
All our booking and payments are done online. Once you sign your contract, Donna, our client concierge will then schedule your session. We will then send you a questionnaire and guides for getting yourself prepared with tips that include outfits, styling and even the nitty, gritty like when to wax and tan. We will get to know each other as Caroline plans and styles your boudoir session. And then it’s the big day and we’ll jump right in to your boudoir session!

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH COUPLES BOUDOIR?
On rare occasions, Caroline does photograph couples boudoir to reflect the love, connection and bond between two people. Her couples boudoir session is filled with a lot of sweetness, laughing and cuddling! These sessions are reserved only for special couples that want to showcase their tenderness, relationship and personality. Airy, light, feminine, editorial and fine art. Caroline is influenced by fashion photography and is constantly fine tuning her craft and style to reflect the feminine nature of the female form. Caroline has chosen the right make up and hair artists that has the same style. She wants all her clients to look and feel like they just stepped out of Vogue magazine!

MAY I HAVE THE DIGITAL FILES OF MY PHOTOS?
For sure! We’re happy to offer different products and collections to meet your needs, and some of them include digital images for your own use on a USB jump drive.

WHAT’S YOUR MOST POPULAR COLLECTION?
We find our clients prefer our 10×10 luxury album album, canvas and a USB jump drive of all session images.

CAN I PURCHASE AN ALBUM FOR MYSELF AND ANOTHER FOR MY PARTNER?
Absolutely and in fact we have a product collection just for this! We call this the His and Hers.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
Because we meticulously craft each order specifically to our clients, photographs, albums and other products typically require 10-12 weeks for delivery from the date of your session. Be sure to book with this in mind and allow plenty of time based on your needs.

WILL YOU BE EDITING MY PHOTOS?
I will hand edit and retouch every final photo personally so that you will only have the very best finished boudoir portraits. All your selected photos will be available to view and order by the time you join us in the studio for your complimentary viewing and ordering session.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?
We curate your photographs only to deliver the best ones to you. Each photograph is individually edited and we hand select only the best one to make it to the final selection. Our motto here is quality not quantity. Caroline delivers on average about 10-15 photographs per outfit or look. All of our clients trust Caroline with her expert choices and appreciate that they only get to see the best photographs and is not overwhelmed by redundancy or unflattering photographs.

WILL YOU POST MY PHOTOS ONLINE?
Many of our clients are so thrilled with their photographs, they’re proud to display their session portraits online; we’re just tickled pink to be a part of that experience. We admit we fall in love with your images, too, but we’ll only share session images with client permission.

SHOULD I GET PROFESSIONAL DONE HAIR AND MAKE UP?
We strongly suggest professional make up and hair. Make up for photography is specialized and will do wonders for your session and self confidence. Plus, why not pamper yourself? You deserve it!

DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES?
Yes! While each woman is naturally beautiful, we also know there’s nothing like being spoiled with pampering, primping and a little professional preparation so you feel your most glam! For this reason, we only work with the best local makeup and hair artists to make sure you look (and feel) sickening (in a good way).

HOW DO I VIEW MY PHOTOS?
After your session, we will be inviting you back to our Sacramento or San Francisco studio for a complementary in person viewing of your photos. This will also be your product ordering sales session where you can select your products privately. We will be working together to select your absolute best from your shoot and the perfect products to showcase your boudoir portraits.
